Industrial cost intelligence for East Africa

Lower cost per tonne. Same machines.

PlantOS connects the meters, motors and machines already on your floor, and our intuitive algorithm learns how your plant runs at its best, shows exactly where money leaks, and keeps every unit you make at the lowest cost.

  • Intuitive algorithm on every section
  • No capex option
  • Runs on site, even offline
  • Works with your existing PLCs

The problem

Measured at the gate. Lost on the floor.

Most plants know what came in and what was sold. What happens in between, kilowatt by kilowatt and kilo by kilo, is guesswork.

Energy nobody can see

One meter at the gate gives you the bill, not which motor, shift or setting caused it.

Machines that fail without warning

A seized bearing stops the line in peak season while raw material keeps arriving.

Yield nobody reconciles

Kilos go missing between intake and dispatch, and no report can say where.

The product

One platform. Three views of the truth.

The same live data, shaped for the control room, the factory floor and the boardroom.

Every kilowatt, explained.

See cost per unit as it happens, broken down by line, machine and utility. When something spikes, you see what caused it and what it cost.

How it works

Simple for every plant.

STEP 1Weeks 1–4

Plant assessment

We clip temporary meters onto your main loads, survey your utilities and send a leakage report in shillings per unit.

Plan your assessment
STEP 2Months 2–3

Connect

We fit sensors where they pay back fastest and link your PLCs, drives and meters. No line stoppage.

STEP 3Every month

Save and verify

PlantOS advises operators, then controls the loops they trust. Savings are verified and reported monthly.

Savings estimate

What could your plant save? Two numbers tell us.

Pick your industry, then set your yearly electricity and fuel bills. The estimate uses the same conservative model as our plant assessments.

In a tea factory, the money hides in withering fans running flat out, wet firewood and tea slipping into lower grades.

Conservative saving per year—
Expected saving per year—
Typical payback on the Optimize tier—

Conservative: 5% of electricity and 4% of fuel. Typical: 10% and 8%. Year one assumes only half of that while meters are installed, baselines are set and changes are made. Your plant may find more or less; the walk-through gives a site-specific estimate.

Built for East Africa

Engineered for real plants. Not lab conditions.

Offline first

Control, dashboards and the field app run on a server inside your plant. The cloud only syncs.

Grid-tough

Outages and sags are logged to the second and priced per batch. Gensets carry priority loads first.

Any machine age

Clip-on meters and retrofit sensors bring 40-year-old lines online without replacing them.

You stay in control

Your PLC keeps every interlock. You own your data under the Kenya Data Protection Act.

Ways to pay

Start small. Pay from what we save.

Begin with measurement. Move to optimization when the numbers convince you. If capital is tight, pay only from verified savings.

Hardware bundled into the monthly fee for 36 months.

Share savings

No money down

No fixed fee. We take a share of verified savings for five years.

Questions

What plant managers ask us first.

Straight answers before your first meeting.

Ask us something else
Do we have to replace our machines?

No. PlantOS reads the PLCs, drives and meters you already have. We add sensors only where they pay back fastest, usually without stopping the line.

What happens when the internet goes down?

Nothing changes on the floor. Control, dashboards and the field app run on a server inside your plant, and data syncs to the cloud when the link returns.

Will PlantOS override our safety systems?

Never. Your PLC keeps every interlock. PlantOS starts by advising operators, then writes setpoints only inside limits your PLC allows.

How do you prove the savings are real?

We agree a baseline with you during the plant assessment, adjust it for production volume and weather, and report savings every month using a method your auditor can check.

How long until we see results?

The assessment report arrives about 30 days after we start. The first optimization project is usually live within three months of signing.
